The film continues the plot of the previous film, and the story begins after the arrest of the "clown" Arthur (played by Joaquin Phoenix), who is waiting for the day of trial in prison. However, just as Arthur is struggling with his dual personality, he not only encounters true love, but also releases the melody that has been hidden in his heart.
