The story of the despised but hidden "humble bastard" Luo Shenyuan (played by Zhang Wanyi) and the "daughter of a rich family" Luo Yining (played by Ren Min) who seeks freedom and independence, from using each other to developing true love, and finally living a carefree and peaceful life after going through all kinds of twists and turns and challenges together. The play is adapted from Wen Tan's novel "The Handbook of Prime Minister Training".
