Jiabo Culture held a press conference for new dramas in 2017 in Beijing, announcing the start of filming of the TV series "Summer Is Here, My Heart Is Full of Hope" adapted from the novel of the same name. Screenwriter Li Jingling revealed that unlike the film version, the TV series will enrich the relationships between the characters, relatively complete the stories of the three novels, and have a different ending than the film version.
