The story takes place on the Transformers' home planet Cybertron, focusing on the Transformers' youth. It tells the story of how the Autobot leader Optimus Prime (voiced by Chris Hemsworth) and the Decepticon leader Megatron (voiced by Brian Tyree Henry) went from being brothers to becoming enemies, starting the protracted War on Cybertron.
