"The Dude" Jeff Bridges will star in a series for the first time. He will star in FX's new drama "The Old Man", adapted from Thomas Perry's best-selling book of the same name. Bridges plays Dan Chase, a retired CIA officer who escaped from the CIA decades ago and has lived in seclusion ever since. But now a killer has come to his door and wants to get rid of him. In order to resolve the trouble, Chase has to revisit his past... Jon Steinberg and Robert Levine ("Black Sails") wrote the script and served as executive producers, and the pilot episode will begin production this fall.
