The 34th KBS Taiga drama. Set against the historical backdrop of the Liao invasion of Goryeo from 1010 to 1019, it tells the story of King Hyeonjong of Goryeo, who ascended the throne at the age of 19 amidst assassination threats and later led the country to victory in the war. The drama includes the first visual depiction of the Guju Victory and the deeds of General Kang Gam-chan.
