Plot:
The story takes place between two generations of three families in contemporary Lhasa. Tudeng, a dramatist who has devoted his life to the Tibetan opera troupe, suffered a series of blows: his eldest son Sonam resigned from his public office to start a business without his knowledge and was heavily in debt; his youngest son Tashi said he did not want to be a doctor and wanted to sing Tibetan opera; his eldest daughter Quzong also faced a dilemma in love. Tibetan doctor Danzeng planned to go to the mainland to enjoy retirement life with his wife Qiao Yanru, who was about to retire, but his wife unexpectedly filed for divorce, and his daughter Dazhen, who was on a business trip back to Tibet, faced the dual pressures of family and career. Jumei, an equestrian team member who was about to retire, faced the final decision of her career as an athlete, and her younger sister Gesang actually ran away from the pastoral area to Lhasa, insisting on applying for a pilot. In the end, Sonam and Dazhen went from constant conflicts to mutual understanding and cooperation, and decided to start a business together; Tashi found the right career path with the help of doctors in Tibet; and Quzong also reaped his own happiness. Jumei gave up the opportunity for stability and was determined to fight hard, and Gesang overcame difficulties and embarked on the road of learning to fly.
