How does a "mental patient" live in a normal world? Wang Zhantuan (Ge You) is a strange man in the secular world. He is occasionally crazy and behaves strangely, but he is uniquely sober. Zhou Zheng (Wang Junkai) is a sensitive and silent teenager. He is autistic because of stuttering, but he has a silent rebellious nature. Two people who don't fit in with the group give the whole family a headache and a lot of farces... This film is adapted from the short story "Xian Syndrome" written by Zheng Zhi.
