The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name "Pure Boxer Lee Kwon-sook" by Korean writer Choo Jong-nam. It tells the story of the world's number one boxer Lee Kwon-sook who suddenly retired and disappeared after making the whole of Korea crazy; one day a sports manager appeared and made a comeback proposal that she could not refuse, and the story that followed.
