The drama is adapted from "The Male God Who Often Causes Trouble to Me" by Xian Tan Luohua, an original contracted writer of iQiyi novels. It tells the story of Huo Yunya, a cold mystery novel writer who is stuck in a bottleneck in his creation and meets Nie Rouzhu, a super worker.
