"Red Star Over China" was listed as a key TV drama project in 2016 to "commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March". The drama tells the story of the young American journalists Edgar Snow and Helen Foster who traveled across the ocean to China in the 1930s and 1940s. Through their work, interviews and personal experiences in China for thirteen years, they examined the major historical events, changes, opportunities and coincidences that took place in China from 1928 to 1941 from their unique perspective.
