Plot:
On the eve of the Opium War, the great hero Huang Feihong (played by Wang Jue) assisted the imperial commissioner Lin Zexu (played by Bao Fang) in banning opium. The 12th Beile (played by Xiong Xinxin) colluded with the tobacco merchants and decided to come to Guangzhou to deal with Huang Lin in person. Su Can (played by Donnie Yen), the son of Guangdong wealthy businessman Su Ren (played by Ng Man-tat), is a martial arts master. Su Can's girlfriend Dai Yide (played by Fennie Yuen) has just returned from abroad and was attacked by the Fire Lotus Sect. In order to save his girlfriend, Su Can blew up the Taiping Drum with a giant firecracker and injured innocent people. After Huang Feihong learned about this, he found Su Can to argue, and Su Can was dissatisfied with Huang and the contradiction arose. Qiao Yazhen (played by Chen Shulan), the aunt who had a crush on Su Ren, led everyone to destroy Dai Yide's Women's Club because of a misunderstanding. At the same time, Dai discovered the conspiracy of the 12th Beile, but was caught by the 12th Beile. Su Can was captured by the 12th Beile to save Dai, and Su Can became addicted to drugs. After being provoked, Su Can went to assassinate Lin Zexu and had a fight with Huang Feihong. Dai Yide finally appeared and explained the truth. Su Can regretted it and fell into despair. Fortunately, the old beggar (played by Guan Haishan) appeared to help Su Can quit drugs successfully. At the critical moment, Su Can appeared to help Huang Feihong subdue the 12th Beile.
