Plot:
As their three children grow up, the troubles of housewife Claire (Julie Bowen) and her husband Phil (Ty Burrell) are coming one after another: the nerdy second daughter Alex (Ariel Winter) is about to enter the high school where the socialite daughter Haley is, and Haley is worried that she will be ridiculed because of her unsociable sister, and the two get along like fire and water; the youngest son Luke (Nolan Gould) still looks stupid and will harass the terrible neighbors without knowing what's good for him. Claire's father Jay (Ed O'Neill) and the beautiful and hot Gloria are the model of an old man and a young wife. Jay's stepson Manny is mature and his relationship with Jay is not as close as that of an ordinary father and son. Claire's younger brother, Jay's youngest son Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and his gay lover Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) adopted a baby girl named Lily, who often cries and disturbs others, causing many conflicts between the couple who are new fathers. The three families have to face various new problems and troubles every day, and some unpleasantness is inevitable in their interactions with each other. However, as long as you maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, problems will always be solved, and happy life will continue.
