In a small town in Mallorca, sisters Ana and Marina, separated as teenagers, are reunited to sell a bakery they inherited from a strange woman. The two sisters now lead very different lives. Ana has barely left the island and is unhappily married to a man she no longer loves. Marina works for an NGO and travels the world as a doctor. As they try to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious owner of the estate and her fortune, they are forced to confront old family problems and their missing teenage years.
