Grace, Annie and Tommy quickly rise to prominence as police officers, but are unprepared for the turbulence they face every day. It's been a year since the fall of the McIntyre gang, and the vacuum has been filled by rival gangs, all vying for dominance. Constable Shane Bradley is drafted in to help, but his motives are unclear. Tommy is seduced into a dangerous world by the intelligence police, while Grace struggles to cope with the disappearance of her son and her growing feelings for her fellow officer, Stevie. A young Loyalist threatens to take over the city, and the officers face a major gang war - culminating in a devastating, violent confrontation.
