"Secrets of the Fox Clan" tells the story of Xiao Moran (played by Zhou Jie), a young master of a business, who was unfortunately involved in a homicide case in Heling City during the warlord period. On his way to find the truth, he met the city guard Bai Qi (played by Chen Yimu), who was actually a descendant of the fox clan. During the investigation, he inadvertently discovered the conspiracy of the Yin-Yang Master Jin Chuan (played by Luo Xiang). The two fought a desperate battle with him and vowed to defend the people of the city to the death.
