The story takes place in the picturesque Barcelona, Spain. Julia (Kate Beckinsale) is an expert in restoring famous paintings. She loves her career very much and often immerses herself in the scenes depicted in ancient paintings. By chance, Julia got a long-lost famous painting. In the process of restoring the famous painting, she accidentally discovered a line of hidden text. This discovery convinced Julia that there was a secret hidden in the painting. She found the collector of the famous painting, Don (Michael Gough), who knew that Don had died. After that, Julia found Dominic (Paudge Behan), a chess master, hoping that Dominic could solve the chess puzzle in the painting. In the process, horrible and cruel murders occurred one after another around Julia and the famous painting.
