Patrick Harbinson, the man behind Homeland, has developed a three-episode drama based on a novel called The Tower for ITV. Based on Kate London's novel, The Tower tells the story of an old patrolman and a young girl falling from a tower block in southeast London and dying, while a five-year-old child on the roof and rookie police officer Lizzie Griffiths are both missing. Sergeant Sarah Collins is called in to join the investigation, and she tries to search for Lizzie, but discovers the terrible truth behind it. In the novel series, Lizzie Griffiths and Sarah Collins are important characters.
