About a century has passed since magic was established as a technique. In April 1995, two siblings entered the so-called "Magic High School" at the National Magic University's First High School, which trains magicians. The younger brother, Tatsuya, is a poor student with a fatal flaw as a magician. The other sister, Miyuki, is an excellent student and is praised as a perfect wizard.
