The series was developed by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy in 2016. The story is adapted from the sci-fi movie of the same name by writer Michael Crichton. It revolves around a future theme park with many robots that can help people realize their daydreams. However, the robots that have been working well suddenly have problems midway, and the situation gradually gets out of control.
