Continuing from the last episode, Tang Seng and his disciples continued on their journey. However, Tang Seng (played by Jiang Hua) had a nightmare. In his dream, his hometown Chang'an City experienced a catastrophe. A giant monkey was wreaking havoc. In order to protect his sworn brother Emperor Taizong of Tang, Tang Seng himself died tragically! After waking up from the nightmare, Tang Seng knew that he was the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi. This was not a simple dream, but a sign from heaven. Therefore, Tang Seng decided to ask Wukong (played by Chen Haomin), Bajie (played by Lai Yiu Cheung) and Sha Seng (played by Mak Cheung Ching) to rush back to Chang'an in three groups to stop this unprecedented catastrophe. Later, Tang Seng was still worried and decided not to do anything for nothing. He walked back to Chang'an City on foot to stop this disaster. On the other hand, the scene in Chang'an City was completely different. Emperor Taizong of Tang was ambitious and thought that the gorilla was a lucky beast. He actually sent people to capture it and exhibit it at the celebration. The disaster in Tang Seng's dream was slowly approaching.
