The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chen Xue. It tells the story of the murder of the beautiful store manager Zhong Meibao in a skyscraper. Two policemen teamed up to solve the case. As they unraveled the case, they discovered that the entire building was hiding incredible interpersonal relationships. They found that everyone had secrets that could not be told, and that one should never believe what they saw.
