The film is a remake of "Saving Mr. Wu" starring Andy Lau, Liu Ye, Wang Qianyuan and Ruofu Wu in 2015. It tells the story of superstar Hwang Jung-min, played by Hwang Jung-min, who was kidnapped after a movie screening. The cunning and arrogant kidnappers demanded a sky-high ransom from him, and Hwang Jung-min desperately tried to escape for his life.
