The series expands on the concept of the 2016 animated short "Scavengers." After an interstellar cargo ship is damaged, the crew finds themselves stranded on a beautiful but overwhelming alien planet. Here, they must survive long enough to have a chance to escape or be rescued. As the survivors work to recover the downed ship and missing crew, their new home reveals a hostile world that can thrive without human interference.
