The story takes place in a large ocean world. Uncle Ya (Ge You), a fish seller, A Le (Yue Yunpeng), a dolphin trainer, and Du Zhiguo (Du Chun), a security guard at the aquarium, met because of work and pitied each other because of their circumstances. They struggled hard, but eventually suffered emotional setbacks. That night, the three of them met for dinner and drank to drown their sorrows. When they were dizzy and unconscious, a car came to the aquarium. Uncle Ya, who was drunk, signed the bill of lading in a daze. When he woke up the next day, he found that the star dolphin baby in the aquarium had been sold abroad by him.
