The show was created by JJ Abrams and Bryan Burk, the producers of Lost. On the New York subway, several gangsters provoked a ragged homeless man for no reason, but they didn't want to be beaten up by him, and everyone was taken back to the police station. Police officer Carter (Taraji P. Henson) was very interested in this mysterious homeless man. Just when he was investigating, he found a clue, but he didn't want the homeless man to be bailed out.
