The story takes place on the sea near Africa. The protagonist Leng Feng (played by Wu Jing) encounters a setback in his life and is expelled from the army. He originally wanted to wander around for the rest of his life, but just when he was about to do so, a sudden accident broke his plan and he was suddenly involved in a rebellion in an African country. He could have evacuated safely, but because he could not forget his mission as a soldier, he rushed back to the occupied area alone and led his compatriots and refugees trapped in the massacre to escape for their lives. As the struggle continued, the wolf nature in his body gradually revived, and he eventually broke into the war zone alone to fight for his compatriots.
