Anthony Mackie will star in the game-adapted action comedy series "Twisted Metal" and serve as executive producer, produced by Sony Television and PlayStation Production. Mackie plays Jane Doe, a milkman with no memory of the past. He gets a chance to live a better life-delivering a mysterious package to the wasteland of a post-apocalyptic world. He and his henchman, a belligerent car thief, face various threats on this road: savage looters, insane clowns driving ice cream trucks, etc. The series is inspired by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, the writing partners of "Deadpool" and "Zombieland", and Michael Jonathan Smith ("Cobra") serves as the screenwriter and executive producer.
