Adapted from the Korean TV series of the same name written by Park Jae-Bum, it was developed by David Shore and broadcast on ABC. The series is jointly produced by ABC Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Korean actor Kim Dae-hyun and Shore, who is also the program coordinator, as executive producers, and Freddie Highmore as the lead actor and producer.
