After being kicked out of the NCAA, a men's basketball coach gets a chance to redeem himself by taking a coaching job at an elite private high school. He quickly learns that teenage players need empathy and vulnerability, two concepts that are not in the vocabulary of stoic coach Cohen (John Stamos). By learning how to communicate with his players, Marvin begins to grow into the person he wants to be. The players also discipline themselves and find their feet on and off the court.
