Plot:
"Dancer" is adapted from the true story of the Hangzhou Building murder case on March 4, 2013. In order to realize her childhood dream of dancing, the heroine Zhang Mengyao became a nightclub dancer, but she sold her art instead of her body. Her untainted personality was appreciated by Gao Yuyang, the boss of a large cultural company. Gao Yuyang, who was nearly 50 years old, had a special liking for her. At the same time, Zhang Mengyao learned about Gao Yuyang's power through her younger sister Wang Xiaofei, and also wanted to use this stepping stone to realize her dream. However, she was opposed by her fiancé Wang Zhipeng, who had already made an engagement with her. One was persistent in sticking to his dream, and the other was traditional in sticking to the moral bottom line. The two argued to no avail and parted unhappily. Wang Zhipeng, who was desperate, had to go to Gao Yuyang, the boss of the cultural company, to argue alone. In front of Gao Yuyang's friends, Wang Zhipeng's argument made Gao Yuyang lose face, and in anger he asked his personal bodyguard to beat Wang Zhipeng violently. Wang Zhipeng knew that he was alone and powerless to resist, so he had to endure the grievance and go to his fiancée to argue again. The two were deadlocked and neither would give in. In a rage to protect his reputation, Wang Zhipeng stabbed his fiancée Zhang Mengyao and finally committed suicide with hatred.
