Ayase Haruka has confirmed that she will star in the suspense drama "The Last Letter from My Ex-Boyfriend", which is adapted from the novel of the same name by Shinkawa Horitsu and will be broadcast in April this year. The drama tells the story of Kenmochi Reiko (Ayase Haruka), a capable lawyer working in a large law firm. After learning the news of her ex-boyfriend Eiji's death, she received a strange last word from him, "I want to give all my property to the criminal who killed me", and thus she and her client jointly sought a huge inheritance. The drama is directed by Suzuki Masayuki and Sawada Kamasaku, and the script is written by Sugihara Kenaki ("Sadako").
