War correspondent Matt Elman (Tahmoh Penikett_dollhouse) ended his dangerous life of shuttling through gunfire and bullets for many years and decided to choose a quiet life. At a carnival party in Singapore, Matt intended to propose to his girlfriend Jesse McCallan (Laura Vandervoort), but encountered a sudden tragedy. Both died in the explosion made by human bombs. I don't know how long it took, Matt woke up again, but found himself in a strange space. After a turbulent river, he met many people who died in the explosion, many of whom had restored their youthful appearance. After a brief surprise, Matt was determined to find the missing Jesse. This film is adapted from the novel of the same name and was made into a four-episode mini-series by the Science Fiction Channel.
