The story describes Zhuge Kongming, who died of illness in the Battle of Wuzhangyuan, and was reincarnated as a young man in Shibuya, Tokyo, modern Japan, where a Halloween parade was being held. As a result, he met the singer-songwriter Tsukimi Eiko. In order to help Eiko realize her dream, Kongming used his military talents and worked as Eiko's military advisor.
