Plot：
The drama is NHK's 108th morning drama. It is based on the story of Makino Tomitaro, the father of Japanese botany. It is written by Ikue Nagata, directed by Yoshio Watanabe and Atsuko Tsuda, and composed by Kaitaro Abe. Minami Hamabe plays the heroine of the drama, the wife of the protagonist Makino Mantaro (played by Ryunosuke Kamiki).
