Plot:
Lieutenant Dunbar (Kevin Costner) made great contributions in the Civil War. In order to reward him, the government gave him the privilege of choosing his station at will. Dunbar longed for a new life, so he chose the remote western outpost of Sekwick. There lived a large number of Indian Sioux. At first, the Sioux resisted his arrival. When Dunbar took the initiative to approach and understand their lives, and rescued a white girl who grew up in the Sioux, the relationship between the tribe and him began to warm up. He got an Indian name: Dances with Wolves. Dunbar's riding skills amazed the tribe, his kindness was praised by everyone, and he fell in love with the white girl.
