Anne Fontey will direct the film Police, with a cast that includes Virginie Efira (20 Years Gap), Omar Sy (The Intouchables), Gregory Gadbois (You Saved My Soul), and Peyman Moadi (A Separation). Fontey and Claire Barré wrote the script. The film is based on the novel by Hugo Boris and tells the story of three policemen who are forced to accept an unusual mission: to repatriate a stranger to his country of origin. On the way to the airport, one of the policemen realizes that if he is allowed to return to his country, he will be threatened with death. So the officer persuades the other two colleagues to let him go.
