The film tells the story of Zhong Zheng (played by Zhang Jiansheng), a down-and-out screenwriter, who ventured into Chilangwan Prison alone to search for the treasure of his ancestors. In prison, he was oppressed by the prison bully Da Biao (played by Chen Baoyuan), and was protected by the loyal and righteous Crab (played by Lu Liangwei). The treasure plan was accidentally leaked, causing the relationship between the three people to become confusing. After some bargaining, they decided to start a "prison break" and work together to transport the treasure out of the prison. Will the huge treasure bring brotherhood or disputes?
