The film tells the story of a group of ragtag people who are sent to complete an impossible mission: to reach the surface of the moon, uncover the secrets behind the moon's deviation, and save the earth from danger. However, these people must first fight against an unknown and incredible force unknown to mankind. Wilson plays a disgraced former NASA astronaut whose last mission ended in failure. He has clues to the impending disaster. Plummer plays his son. Gad plays an eccentric genius who deduces that the moon has deviated from its orbit. Berry plays an astronaut-turned-NASA administrator whose previous mission provided clues to the catastrophe. Lionsgate is expected to release the film in North America in 2021.
