Plot:
AppleTV and Bambú Producciones, the producer of Cable Girls, have jointly developed this bilingual thriller "Now And Then" in English and Spanish, and have confirmed that Gideon Raff, the director of Homeland, will direct the first two episodes. This story set in Miami will explore the contradiction between the youthful enthusiasm for the future and the reality of adulthood. A group of college friends lost one of their friends during a carnival weekend. 20 years later, a sudden anonymity threatens the lives of the remaining five people. They can only unite to find out the truth behind the scenes. "Valerio" Jorge Lopez of "Elite" plays Alejandro, a young, handsome and promising man. He is the glue between these friends and puts everyone together more than his own happiness. "Megan" Rosie Perez of "The Flight Attendant" plays Flora, a detective who is fascinated by the unsolved mystery 20 years ago. She wants to uncover the truth 20 years ago at all costs. Russell Željko Ivanek plays Flora's experienced detective partner Sullivan in Madam Secretary, who always uses evidence and logic to prevent Flora from getting into too much trouble because of her passion. Marinade Tavira, nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in Roma, plays the adult Ana, a smart and ambitious woman who temporarily gave up her equally bright political career to support her husband's political career. Alicia Jaziz plays the younger version of Ana. José María Yazpik plays Pedro, a complex politician and Ana's husband in Narcos, but he often feels that his life does not belong to him. Dario Yazbek Bernal plays the younger version of Pedro, the handsome and philandering brother of the scumbag in House of Flowers. Mercedes Maribel Verdú plays Sofia, a successful lawyer in Pan's Labyrinth, who has been carrying too many secrets for 20 years. Alicia Sanz plays her younger self in Alexa High School. Manolo Cardona, who plays Marcos, a surgeon who sacrificed his dream for his family and friends, will play the young version of the character. Soledad Villamil, the heroine of the original Argentine version of the film, will play the introverted Daniela, who has been haunted by past events over the years, and the young version will be played by Miranda de la Serna.
