"Dragon Sakura 2" is adapted from the manga of the same name by Mita Norifusa. The story takes place 10 years after the 2005 drama version of "Dragon Sakura". It tells the story of Kenji Sakuragi (played by Hiroshi Abe), who has been guiding the management of private universities after retiring from Ryusan High School. He accepted the invitation of Ryusan High School, which is in trouble again, and returned to lead the students to fight. Masami Nagasawa, who played the student Naomi Mizuno in the previous work, is reportedly returning to her alma mater as a teacher.
