After being forced to reassign from her dream job at the Pentagon, steely Captain Jacqueline Collins (Elsa Pataky) is put in charge of an isolated nuclear missile interceptor base in the central Pacific. When a joint offensive simultaneously threatens the base itself, Collins crosses paths with the demagogue Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a former U.S. military intelligence officer intent on carrying out an unthinkable plan. With only minutes left, Collins must use her years of tactical training and military expertise to decide who she can trust and stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrifying mission. The Intercept is directed by Matthew Reilly from a screenplay by Matthew Reilly and Stuart Beattie. Michael Boone is the producer, with an executive production team that includes Matthew Street, Stuart Beattie, Chris Hemsworth, Christopher Map, Robert Slaviero, Cassie Morgan and Peter D. Graves.
