Plot:
Hua Mulan (played by Chan Miu-ying)'s father Hua Hu (played by Law Kar-ying) was persecuted by the Langs because he accidentally discovered the Langs' illegal visit and was included in the conscription list to exterminate the Turks. Hua Hu was old and weak and destined to go there without return. The only male in the family, Mu Di (played by Wai Ka-hung), was also a weak scholar. In desperation, Hua Mulan had to dress up as a woman and join the army for her father. In the army, Hua Mulan met He Gaosheng (played by Wang Xi). This pair of happy enemies quarreled all day long and was full of jokes. However, when Mulan's true identity was about to be exposed, it was the kind He Gaosheng who helped her through the difficulties. In addition to hiding her identity, Hua Mulan also had to deal with various undercover assassins sent by the Langs. When she was attacked from both sides, the smart and brave Mulan repeatedly made extraordinary achievements, and Taizong even betrothed the imperial sister Lang Xiaoxiao (played by Fu Mingxian) to Mulan as his wife.
