The drama is adapted from Wei Yu's novel of the same name. It tells the story of "Desert Rose" Ye Liuxi (played by Ni Ni) and "Smart and Brave Sand Liao" Changdong (played by Bai Yu), one to solve the mystery of his life, the other to uncover the truth of the past, the two teamed up to explore the fantasy world.
