Plot:
The drama is a classic drama produced by ITV in the UK. It was created by Julian Fellowes, an Oscar-winning screenwriter, and the star-studded cast is extremely dazzling. The story of the first season runs from 1912 to the outbreak of the First World War in 1914. The title and estate of the earl of Grantham can only be inherited by male heirs at the same time. The current earl Robert saved the estate by marrying the extremely wealthy Cora, and her huge property became part of the earl's assets permanently according to the contract. The earl, who has no offspring, can only make his nephew Patrick the legal heir (that is, the fiancé of his eldest daughter Mary). But Patrick died in the Titanic accident, and their distant relative Matthew will inherit everything from them, including the Countess's huge personal property. What kind of story will develop around the inheritance of property, the emotional entanglement between Mary and Matthew, and the relationship between the Grantham family and the servants?
