"GoodWife" is the first Korean drama remade from an American drama. It tells the story of a full-time housewife, Kim Hye-kyung (Jeon Do-yeon), who becomes a defense lawyer to support her family after her prosecutor husband, Lee Tae-joon (Yoo Ji-tae), is imprisoned for a political scandal. In addition to Yoo Ji-tae and Jeon Do-yeon, two powerful actors, Yoon Ji-sang and Kim Si-young have also joined the show. The drama is directed by Lee Jung-hyo, the director of "Need Romance 2", "Witch's Love" and "Heartless City", and written by the screenwriter of "SPY". It will premiere on July 8, following "My Dear Friend".
