Detectives with their own specialties work together to deal with national-level crisis threats. Tetsuji Tanaka plays the squad leader Mitsunari Yoshinaga, who is considered to always be calm and in command among his colleagues. He is a former criminal in the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division and an expert in interrogation. Toru Nomaguchi plays the sarcastic and sarcastic Yusuke Kashii, a member of the special search team of the former mobile team's explosive ordnance disposal team. He has an excellent sense of smell and a special ability called "synesthesia" that allows him to see smells and distinguish colors. Yuko Araki plays Rei Oyama, a former hacker and cyber intelligence analyst who is a bright spot among the thousands of herbs in the class. She pretends to be cool but has a shadow in her heart.
