The story is set against the backdrop of the turbulent Middle East and focuses on the experiences of an American family working in the Middle East. Barry (Adam Rayner) is the son of a ruler of a Middle Eastern country. After 20 years of self-exile, he returns to his war-torn homeland with his American wife and children to attend his nephew's wedding. As soon as he returns, he is drawn into a dangerous political game that forces him to face the family he abandoned when he was young.
