A pair of lesbians in their twilight years have been together for forty years. One of them suddenly leaves, and before she can calm down, the other has to face the change in attitude of her lover's family members. The home they were supposed to spend their lives in has attracted a fight between their closest relatives, and they are caught in a legal and emotional battle. Yang Yaokai has taken his film to a new level after "Uncle". He interweaves infinite warmth in the understated daily life, and believes that blood ties should not override independent love. He speaks for the neglected rights of the local LGBTQ community from a calm perspective, and profiles the plight of the young generation in Hong Kong who have no home.
