This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Yoko Fujioka, who also has experience as a nurse. The story takes place in the Philippines in 1945. The protagonist who travels through time and space lives with his companions without losing hope in the cruel situation of scarcity of supplies and death during the war, and gradually regains the strength to survive through daily life.
